Wonderful, full overtone profile sound that carries nicely but doesn't overmatch the piano. Clear fccus and fine legato. For other clarinetists out there, can you say what mouthpiece and clarinet set-up (brands and mdels) you were using in this recording?

I agree that it's too fast here. This is not a march. Too stoccato for me, but it is an interesting take on a beautiful piece of music.

I enjoyed your performance and was able to hear all of your phrases because the very excellent pianist did not overwhelm your very pleasant sound. I am 77yrs old and returned to my clarinet 10yrs ago after 40 yrs in medicine. It has literally saved my life as performing with good musicians is the most nourishing experience one can hope for. I wish you well and keep working as the work is never totally done. jules

haha, fun piece. clearly influenced by very early jazz (someone wrote "sweet jazz"), which sounds quite antique today, but it's a parody anyways.. sort of ;)

@Clarinetmoon93 the first part is in cut time, the secont part is a fast 5/8 Allthough 3/8 4/8 6/8 and the tretourous 7/8 are thrown in as well for good measure :)

pamatuju si ještě, jak když jsem s tebou chodila do třetí třídy a měli jsme vystoupení před rodičema, taks' nám hrál doprovod k písničce Babičko,prosímtě,splň mi přání ... :D ... A my malí jsme tam skoro ani nestíhali těma nohama tancovat, jaks frčel... :D Seš parádní :)) Gratuluju a doufám, že u klavíru vydržíš co nejdéle, nelépe, kdybys od něj vůbec neodešel ;-) !
